The Blue Fish and Oyster Ba
r is located at the corner of Cooper and Young in the heart of Midtown. Richard and Evalee Grenamyer came from the Gulf Coast to bring the freshest seafood to Memphis. Come Dine with us in a fun old Florida atmosphere for an evening vacation!

Formerly owners of The Lake Place Restaurant in Santa Rosa Beach and Cafe Spiazzia and Hurricane Oyster Bar in Seaside, FL. The Grenamyers invite you to experience seafood at its best. Richard Gremanyer, one of "The Great Chef's of the South," as honored by the Discovery Channel, has been cooking seafood since he was twelve years old, growing up in the restaurant business at The Kismet Inn on Fire Island, NY. After many experiences in the food industry he owned and was the executive chef at Sterlings Flamingo Cafe of Avondale in Jacksonville, FL. Following that he was executive chef at The Governor's Club in Tallahassee, FL.

The Blue Fish flies in seafood varities from the Boston area, Hawaii, New Zealand, The Gulf Coast, Alaska and wherever else it is possible at the time. We always have a fine steak, chicken and vegetarian entrees for non seafood lovers. We have a popular oyster bar featuring Oysters Rockefeller, Oysters Bienville and fresh raw oysters, along with grilled spiced and peel & eat shrimp and other delictables as they are available. Our full bar features a premium well and an affordable wine selection with many wines offered by the glass. Our many desserts are made by Evalee.
